- It is not fully vote-proof, and we will not pretend otherwise. No public online poll is. At the casual protection levels, a determined person can vote more than once. If the result carries real weight — an election, money — use the stricter, one-vote-per-verified-person modes.
- It does not claim features it does not have. It ships fewer things that actually work.
How your data is handled
Voting pages carry no analytics and no advertising trackers. A vote stores only the option chosen, a timestamp, a salted hash of the IP, and a rough device-fingerprint hash — never names, never raw IPs. Who runs it
OXPoll is an independent, self-funded tool. It makes money from an optional Pro upgrade (custom branding, stronger protection, exports) and from advertising on this blog only — never on the poll creation, voting, or results pages.
